September 25-29, 2019 we drove from Florida to Charlotte, NC. We took our car at the time, Jaguar XJL Supercharged. After an overnight stay in downtown Charlotte, we headed across the state to drive on The Tail of the Dragon. I think the road would have been more fun with a motorcycle or slingshot. The Jaguar is a wonderful driving car, but it prefers to go fast, and Tail of the Dragon is rather slow due to the very tight corners.
When we were done with with Tail of the Dragon, we headed south to Helen, Georgia.
Helen, Georgia is a super cute town, that is modeled after a Bavarian village. We were lucky to find a hotel because this was the start of Octoberfest!
